For those of you who haven’t come across Latest in Beauty, here’s how it works in four easy steps:

So my third/fourth box with Latest in Beauty box was the
Cosmopolitan Party Starter Edit – read on for my thoughts 🙂 I got this box for £17.5 plus £3.95 p&pG

GILLETTE – Venus Snap Razor

Ever since I’ve started shaving, I’ve always used any cheap disposable razors that came my way. This has my converted! I have not cut myself as the razor moves with the contour of your body. I will be repurchasing this!

SLEEK MAKEUP – I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in All Night Long

I received my first Sleek eyeshadow palette in 2007 as a gift from my elder sister, and they have been my go to ever since. These amazing neutral colours can be used for a simple day look or built up for a dramatic night look. I was shocked at how tiny the palette was, but it’s an amazing addition to my makeup bag for touch ups on the go!

SLEEK MAKEUP – Matte Me Lip Cream in Rioja Red

Advertised as a fire-engine red, it had orangey undertones in it, I prefer a deeper red. But I cannot fault the formula, its a velvety matte shade which doesn’t budge and can withstand all the food and drink I consume (it’s a lot!)

GLAMGLOW – GravityMud Firming Mask Treatment

After seeing many vaults of GLAMGLOW masks on many PR unboxing videos, I was anticipating this mask and it didn’t disappoint. IT was generously sized for more than one application and left my skin feel super soft,

I was excited to try these eco-friendly glitters, and the shades were lovely. The glitter was small and delicate as opposed to some other brands which have been quite coarse and uncomfortable. I used these with a bit of eyelash glue and they worked a treat! A little definitely goes a long way! This box also had a 20% OFF the Party Animal range & Glittery Gifts offer on, which I also didn’t use as these glitters were pretty generous.

NAILS INC – Nail Polish in Mayfair Market

This rose-gold shimmery shade was definitely a natural one. You need more than one coat, but it didn’t feel as chemically as normal nail polishes. I’m hoping that over a long term, the matcha and almond oil will benefit my nails. The box also came with 25% off NailsInc, but I was sorted for nail polishes for a while!

EYLURE – Volume No.100 Lashes

I can tell why these are a best-seller! They were the right wispiness for added va-va-voom without looking too over the top. They were comfortable and the glue lasted all day – none of the sneaky corner liftoffs! The box also had a discount code for 30% off Eyelure, but I usually buy mine from Superdrugs which worked out cheaper, so I gave it a miss!

ERBORIAN – Pink Perfect Créme

This cream comes with a lot of raving reviews, I don’t think the tiny tube had enough for me to decide whether it is indeed a miracle cream. It worked well as a primer, leaving me with a flawless base. This box had an offer for 15% off this cream, but I hadn’t used enough of it to decide whether or not to buy it.

IT COSMETICS – Brow Power Universal Pencil

This double-sided tool is a quick and easy way to achieve flawless brows. The shade was just right for me and come wind, rain or sunshine, this didn’t budge! Although smudgeproof, the spoolie allowed me to get a natural look as opposed to heavily filled in.

BEVERLY HILLS FORMULA – Perfect White Black Toothpaste

This actually didn’t taste too bad, although brushing with a black toothpaste was somewhat a novelty. I have saved the rest for my wedding week to ensure sparkly whites for the big day (whenever that may be!) This was a good sensitive toothpaste that didn’t feel intrusive.

BED HEAD – TIGI Mini Hard Head Hard Hold Hairspray

I never really use hairspray as I’ve always got my hijab on, however this found a nice home with my sister who sang it’s praises. Not too sticky, smells nice and hold the hair well.

SOAPER DUPER – Vanilla Shea Body Wash

This eco-friendly body wash smelt amazing with a good amount of suds. It has the texture of bath milk and left your skin super supple and smelling great.

ST TROPEZ – Instant Tan Finishing Gloss

As I don’t use fake tan, I used this as a bronzer/highlighter for a few but it was a tad too sticky for my liking so I passed it on to a friend who wanted a bit of pre-holiday glow.

YES TO – Cotton Comforting Facial Wipes

Yes I am one of those that will reach for the face wipes when I can’t be bothered, I’m knackered or I just don’t have the time to remove my makeup. This wipes were thicker than the average wipes, recyclable, sensitive enough to use around the eyes, yet tough enough to remove all kinds of makeup – what’s not to love?!

LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER – Sculpting Sponge

This is by far the best makeup sponge I have ever used, and I have tried a few! The useful angles allow this sponge to be multi-purpose for foundation, highlighting, those pesky inner corners and so much more. I’ve used this both wet and dry and feel that the best judgement to be dependent on the product that you are using it with. Creamier products tend to work better when this is slightly wet. It hasn’t lost shape or firmed up even after several uses and washes.

This box also came with a 24-hour pass to BeautyPie, unfortunately, I didn’t get around to using it before it expired 🙁 All in all, I enjoyed this box and think it was well worth the price, with some hyped about brands, I would definitely recommend it and definitely some items in there that I would repurchase!
