For those of you who haven’t come across Latest in Beauty, here’s how it works in four easy steps:

So my very first box with Latest in Beauty box was the British Beauty Blogger Dream Box 11, which I reserved after much anticipation – read on for my thoughts 🙂 I got this box for £21.95 inc free p&p

1 x Ardell Natural Style Demi Wispies (Full Size)
These were amazingly lightweight with a strong adhesive that lasted all day, even with heavy eye makeup. They were not incredibly full but an amazing natural-looking enhancement. As I removed these carefully, I was able to re-use them a few times with minimal hassle – always a bonus!

1 x Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Cream (15ml)
A generous pot of this raved about cream – this was definitely hydrating. I used it as a night cream and could almost feel my skin drinking in all the goodness!

1 x Kerastase BAIN SATIN 1 (30ml) & 1 x Kerastase LAIT VITAL (20ml)
These came as a set and I can only wish the bottles were bigger. They are the shampoo and conditioner from the Keratase collection, which left my hair feeling nourished and super soft.

1 x Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF15 (3.7g)
As a lover of the whole Eight Hour range, I was definitely not disappointed by this. It left a light protective sheen on the lips without feeling too heavy or sticky, with a lovely smell and SPF – a winner!

1 x Mio Double Buff (50ml)
This was a very gentle and soft exfoliator which left my skin feeling softer, and looking brighter. Only downside is that you have to be extra careful with the product around your eyes – those pesky pumice bits hurt in the eye!

1 x Sleek MakeUP Mini Pout Polish (1x 4.5g pot)
I wasn’t a fan of this, it was too sticky and not tinted enough, in my opinion. I did attempt to use it as a cheek tint, which also didn’t go too well. Maybe it would have worked better for someone who loves the sheen on their lips, and minimal colour.

1 x LOLA Make Up Ultra Shine Lipstick (full size 4g)
The texture of this lippy resembled that of the Tom Ford Violet Fatale one, a block colour with a slight sheen. However, the orange was too bright for my liking, so I resorted to using it as a colour corrector until I eventually donated it to a new home of my friend 😉

1 x invisibobble The Traceless Hair Ring (3x hair rings)
As a bun fiend, I was curious about these and they did the trick! Although not totally traceless, they felt much more comfortable then the traditional hair bobbles, but i had wished that they weren’t bright yellow!

1 x Agent Provocateur FATALE (2ml vial)
You really can’t go wrong with little vials of perfume, they’re useful to have around and this smelt amazing 🙂

1 x Eylure Brow Crayon in Mild Brown (0.23g)
This was a tad disappointing, as not only was it a few shades lighter than I needed (could have been worked with), it also dried out super quick, which means it was parched and broke after a few uses.

1 x Le Couvent des Minimes Gardener’s Hand Healer (25ml)
This was a handy pocket/handbag sized tube with packaging that resembles that of The Body Shop’s Hemp hand cream (love that one!) This was a handy addition to your handbag and hydrated your hands without

1 x The Body Shop® Beautifying Oils (100ml)
This was a generously full-sized bottle which had multiple uses and a lovely coconutty smell. I liked to use this either in my hair or all over my body as part of my post-bath routine. This was a moisturising oil without the greasiness of some similar products. This was quite perfumed and therefore not suitable around the sensitive eye area.

1 x NUDE SKincare Deluxe Pro Genius Treatment Oil (10ml)
This worked wonders, possibly one of the best night oils I have ever used. The handy pipette allowed for a controlled application which made the product last for a long time. As it is very rich, a few drops worked wonders. The only downside to this was the strong smell it had, like a spice I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

1 x Essie Nail Polish (1x 5ml)
This festive colour came just in time for winter and the holidays. It was a sparkly burgundy with the same colour glitter in it. It lived up to the normal Essie nail polishes, but the glitter made it hard to remove as it did get quite hard after application.

1 x Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Duo (full size)
This highlighter and bronzer resembled a chocolate bar and was sufficient for your contouring, bronzing and highlighting needs. It was highly pigmented and had sturdy packaging which

1 x Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (8.5g)
With it’s distinctive lemony citrus smell, this was like a dry vaseline just for your cuticles. That may sound like a bad thing, but as someone that often gets peeling cuticles, this was a miracle worker – just resist the urge to keep sniffing at it!

1 x Ciaté London Lashlights (6.5ml)
This was another disappointing item, as although it added length, the shade I was sent was a bright electric blue which was almost unwearable. To give it a fair go, I used it under my normal mascara when doing heavy eye makeup, it was long-lasting and didn’t smudge.

All in all, I enjoyed this box and think it was well worth the price, bar a few issues with shades of products. It’s a grown up lucky bag which I would definitely recommend.
